This enquiry came from the landlord of the premises in the event of his tenants vacating his warehouse unit in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
In the contract between the two parties it is agreed that upon the end of the lease period the tenant should ensure the premises are of a similar standard to those found upon arrival.
Any work required is known in the industry as dilapidations and are generally outlined by a surveyor.
The original plastisol coating on the building had deteriorated extremely which resulted in quite a substantial preparation process being required.
The colour of the premises was matched accurately by the site inspector and the finish was immaculate. So much so that, before Cladding Coatings had even left site, a new tenant was ready to take up a new lease for the premises.
We also treated the GRP roof lights on the roof which not only strengthened the roof lights but allowed a greater natural sunlight to be found from within the premises, effectively reducing the dependency of electric lights during the day.
The whole Cladding Refurbishment service was carried out on this building leaving the landlord extremely impressed. It is now the prime location on the industrial estate.
